WELCOME to Zimt&Grün

I am so happy to share with you my very first blog! I want to thank you all for being here on the website and taking time to discover me and my journey.

I have worked for 11 years in a german multinational company, based in Düsseldorf, and I loved every minute of it. Being a mother had changed everything. From the busy life of the city, I have moved with my husband to Bielefeld, where nature took her course and discovered the joy of raising our two children, Sophie, and Philipp Alexander in a slow, sustainable way of life.

I found Bielefeld, a lovely and friendly city, just perfect for a young family like us. Here, at the edge of Teutoburger Forest, ten minutes away from the town, we fell in love with the little wonders that nature gives us, and I began to appreciate more the moments with my family. Every day spent in nature is a discovery of countless opportunities for creativity and fun. When we close our eyes, we see textures, scents, rhythms, and shades of light playing around us in never ending forms.

These enlightening sensations served as the principal force for the label’s philosophy that I created and manifested within the brand Zimt&Grün.

It all began from my desire to offer my children sustainable, comfortable but also cool clothes. Being passionate about fashion, it was a challenge for me to find items that look stylish, with a minimalistic line and still confortable, but the most important produced under fair circumstances.

So, I decided to start working on my very first brand and to make collections that can include all my principles and aspirations for my children’s clothes. It took me almost two years of hard research and work, to get here with the final product of my desire. Now, I finally can share it, along with my love, to all the children out there!

From now on I will be here for you, with wonderful and sustainable clothes, useful advice regarding children and motherhood that can make life a bit easier and not to forget Tips & Tricks on kids’ fashion and styling ideas. Let the journey begin:
